RTU Appoint Pishigu Chief as Board Chair
Relegated Real Tamale United (RTU) have appointed former Managing Director of Stanbic bank and Chief of Pishigu, Naa Alhassan Andani as their new Board Chairman.
Though the club are yet to constitute a new Board after its dissolution a few months ago, the club find it imperative to give Naa Alhassan Andani the role as Board Chair.
In a notice, the Division One club said, “It is announced for the information of our teeming fans and the general public of the appointment of his Royal Highness Pishigu Lana Alhassan Andani as the new Board Chair of our Club by our Life Patron.”
The new Board members will be announced later after constitution.
Meanwhile, they have appointed Safianu Zakaria as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will be in charge for the next two seasons, it relayed.
It furthered, “The acting Board Secretary, Arc Jawhari Baba-Duah will support the newly appointed officials until a substantive Board is constituted.
RTU dissolved their Board of Directors following an emergency stakeholder meeting in March while they were battered with a series of crises.
In its place, an Interim Management Committee was constituted with Zakaria as the Chairman.
