Research Finds Bawumia Favoured As Preferred Candidate
Research conducted by Global InfoAnalytics has shown Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the preference of voters to lead the NPP with a 3% difference in votes ahead of his fierce contender, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.
The results of the study released by the independent research company in Ghana focused on five of the leading candidates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) vying for the flagbearership position including Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
The research used all voters, New Patriotic Party voters, and floating voters as respondents.
The results released by the research organisation showed Bawumia leads Alan by 3% when it comes to all voters.

Meanwhile, among the NPP voters, 50% prefer Bawumia leads while 33% prefer Alan and 16% Kennedy.

Alan’s luck is with floating voters as he leads with 41%. Bawumia had the support of 30% with Kennedy being backed by 25%.
