Reports of Evelyn Nsiah Asare Requesting Kotoko Players’ Medical Reports Untrue

Reports claiming that Evelyn Nsiah Asare requested medical reports of Asante Kotoko players have surfaced in recent days, sparking discussions within the local football space but it turns out all those are untrue and just mere speculations.

Nsiah Asare, currently serves as Personal Assistant to James Osei Brown, the Chairman of the club’s newly constituted Board of Directors, with the reports suggesting the move could have been made on behalf of the board.

However, Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio has dismissed the claims, insisting that the reports circulating from other indigenous outlets are false and that no such request was made to the club’s medical team.

Nsiah Asare is a well-established figure in Ghana football, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hasaacas Ladies and also as a former board member of Asante Kotoko.

The new Kotoko board, put together by the club’s owner and bankroller Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in February, is yet to publicly outline its plans and ambitions for the club moving forward.

On the pitch, Kotoko are coming off an impressive 3-0 win over Nations FC, their first league victory against their regional rivals, which lifted them to third place with 42 points, six adrift the top-spot.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel next to Dormaa to face Aduana FC in what will be a very crunch clash of match-week 27 of the Ghana Premier League
