Recalcitrant Tricycle Riders Should Be Punished.

Alhaji Karmel the Interim Chairman of Pragyea Adwedeta Rider’s Association in the Ashanti Region has said tricycle riders who refused to be law abiding should be punished accordingly.
“Most tricycle drivers have taken the laws into their own hands, so drivers who goes contrary to the rules and regulations should be punished”; after that they will learn their lessons”, he said.
He made the remarks on Opemsuo Radio on Monday, September 6, 2021.
The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council in a News release expressed concern over the reckless driving of tricycles and motorbikes riders in the Ashanti Region.
“We are in support of the Coordinating Council. I strongly believe that riders who went contrary to the rules for the past six days will be made to face the laws”, he added.
The Chairman suggested that riders should be made to join an Association because the constitution governing the Association will help regulate the activities of riders.
