Rebecca Akufo-Addo Funds New Library Facility for Achimota Primary School
Former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has funded the construction of a new library for her alma mater, Achimota Primary School.
The facility, stuffed with books and computers, was commissioned on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
In a Facebook post, she said it was her contribution to the school for nurturing her early years.
“It was an honour to give back to the school that helped shape my life, and I remain grateful to the founders and teachers who guided my early years.
“The new facility is fully furnished with books, computers, and a child-friendly reading space designed to support both literacy and digital learning.”
According to her, the project reflects the Rebecca Foundation’s commitment to creating better learning environments for children across Ghana.
