Ramseyer Presbyterian Church to Mark 130th Anniversary

Ramseyer Presbyterian Church, Adum, is preparing to celebrate its 130th anniversary, commemorating more than a century of ministry and community service.

A delegation from the church joined the Awukudae Festival on April 8, 2026, to formally inform Otumfuo Osei Tutu II of the upcoming celebrations and seek his blessings.

According to Rev Samuel Kwesi Yeboah, Chairman of Presbytery, the church deemed it imperative to keep Otumfuo in the loop, as he has been a constant source of support to the church.

“Otumfuo has been a formidable support to the church, and so we came to formally inform him,” he said.

The church’s 130th anniversary is slated for September 26, 2026, and a formal invitation will be extended to Otumfuo in due course.

The celebrations will also include the inauguration of a new building, which has received significant financial support from His Majesty.

The clergymen used the occasion to pray for Otumfuo’s continued good health and leadership.
