Ramadan: Zongo Nkosuohene Spearheads Kumasi Central Mosque Cleanup
The Zongo Development Chief in the Ashanti Region, Sarki Alhaji Abdulai Ali has spearheaded a voluntary cleanup exercise at the Kumasi Central Mosque.
The exercise conducted on Monday, February 24, 2025, by the National Association of Muslim Garment Designers, is to usher in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
It was conducted in accordance with the Islamic principles of keeping the surroundings clean.
The association’s leadership acted responsibly to ensure they paved way for the future generations to emulate as they expressed their profound commitment toward contributing to the development of their communities.
They also expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for all the support given to them by the chief in the light of making a great and prosperous community together.
The Asanteman Zongo Nkosuohene used the event to encourage the group and its leadership to work with unity and harmony to achieve their collective goals.
Sarki further advised all members, particularly the youth to be respectful and self-conscious in their actions, especially as the Holy period approaches.
