Prisons Service Disclaims “Protocol” Account on Tiktok
The Ghana Prisons Service has flagged as fake, a Tiktok account with name “Ghana Prisons Service Protocol” .
The said account displays pictures of the Director-General of Prisons and Prison related activities.
In a statement, the Service categorically stated that the account was not an official page.
“As such, the said page is not an official communication channel of the Ghana Prisons Service and does not represent the views, operations or authority of the Service.”
It therefore urged members of the public to exercise caution and to refrain from engaging with, transacting business through or relying on information provided by the said page.
It warned, ‘Any person who deals with or engages the page does so entirely at their own risk and peril.”
The Service emphasised that all official information and communications from the Ghana Prisons Service are disseminated only through its recognized and duly authorized channels.
