Poor Infrastructure: Major Challenge In Abom Community.
The Assembly Member for Pakyi No 1 Electoral Area in the Amansie West District, Hon. Williams Kusi Boadum has called on Government to establish more infrastructures at Abom.
Lack of school facility is affecting the education of children in the community whilst bad road is hindering the progress of business activities.
He said this in an interview with Opemsuo Radio’s news reporter, Kwame Adu Gyamfi Kumanin on Nkwantananso morning show on Monday, August 23, 2021.
According to Hon. Kusi Boadum, bad road network has been their major challenge.
“The Former Member of Parliament helped in constructing the first phase and the community is waiting for the second phase to begin”, he said.
Recently they met the current member of Parliament and He showed them the documentations as a prove that they are working on it” he disclosed.
Hon Kusi Boadum said attempts have been made to help improve the current state of the community and was hopeful that when the President appoints a new District Chief Executive, the road network will be completed.
Opemsuo investigations show that the Chief of the community, Nana Oteng Mensah Ababio, organised a do-it-yourself programme aimed at building a-6-unit classroom block for the people but financial constraints have stalled the project.
