Poor infrastructure affecting our livelihood – Residents of Buoya
Lack of infrastructure affects every aspect of life. The challenges of infrastructure development at Bouya Electoral Area in Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region, are many.
“We lack good roads, electricity, good drinking water and a school for our children”, residents lament.
Speaking on Opemsuo Radio, Buoya Assembly Member, Hon. Frimpong Emmanuel, expressed his displeasure about the situation.
According to him, residents have not set their eyes on the District Chief Executive since he was appointed into office four years ago.
He noted that, “Politicians came here last year before the Presidential Elections, brought different types of light poles but they left them here after the elections. Our School has not been used for the past two years and because of that sheep have taken over the premises”.
“I am pleading with the Government and President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, to choose his subordinates well because we work with them, the absence of the District Chief Executive is a contributing factor to our challenges”, he added.
