Pooley Murder: Girlfriend of Stabber Arrested for Assisting His Escape to Senegal
The police have arrested one Grace Siaw as investigations into the murder of Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong advance.
According to a brief statement issued by Kotoko, the girlfriend of the alleged stabber, assisted him in fleeing the country in February.
She is alleged to have hidden him for more than a week before aiding him to bolt to Senegal.
“The police have in their custody one GRACE SIAW, a girlfriend of DANIEL FEBIRI a.k.a BRAIMA a.k.a ASHI a.k.a Rasta who concealed the suspect between 4th & 17th Feb and assisted him to ran to Senegal through Cote d’voire.”
The female suspect was arrested and arraigned in court on February 25 where she was remanded into police custody.
She is expected to reappear in court today, March 3.
Frimpong, popularly known as Yaw Pooley met his untimely death during a game between Kotoko and Nsoatreman on February 2, 2025, when he was stabbed to death.
A series of arrests have since been made.
