Policewoman Pours Hot Water on Colleague
A policewoman has poured hot water on her colleague following a heated altercation between the two.
Identified as Constable Alonsi Elizabeth, the suspect has since been interdicted and taken into police custody for causing harm.
The victim sustained injuries to parts of her face, her back and chest.
Confirming this in a statement, the Ghana Police Service said, “The Ghana Police Service has detained and interdicted Police Constable Alonsi Elizabeth for causing harm.”
She is currently in custody and will be taken through both internal disciplinary processes and the due processes at the court of law, the police said.
Meanwhile, it said the victim is in a stable condition and continues to receive medical attention.
