A police officer identified as No. 45638 G/Sgt. Lotsu Agbeko has been arrested for his alleged possession and transportation of 84 parcels of compressed dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
This was announced by the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service in a statement dated June 14, 2022.
Per the account of the police service, the police officer now suspect, failed to stop at a police checkpoint, the Have Police barrier, when he was signalled by two officers on duty to stop.
