Police Investigate Death Of Man At Accra Zoo

The Ghana Police Service has announced that investigations have commenced into the death of a man at the Accra Zoo.

The young man was found dead on Sunday, August 28, 2022, inside the enclosure of the lions.

It is alleged that the man scaled into the lioness enclosure to steal a cub when the unfortunate incident happened.

The police say they are working with the Forestry Commission to investigate the incident.

The Service says that the deceased is yet to be identified.
