Police Arrest Two Suspects For Possession Of Narcotic Drugs
The Eastern North Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects for possessing narcotic drugs at Amankwakrom.
Identified as Yaw Ntoso, and Perpetual Ayitey, they were busted on the main Agordeke-Donkorkrom motor road on November 13, 2025.
A police statement said “preliminary Investigations revealed that, a snap check team intercepted a Kia Bongo Truck driven by one Yaw Ntoso, a thorough search conducted by the officers led to the discovery of three (3) white sacks containing one hundred and thirty-five (135) compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa, a narcotic drug, wrapped in yellowish cellotapes and twenty-one (21) oval-shaped parcels of similar substances.”
The suspects are currently in police custody assisting investigations and will be put before the court.
