Police Arrest Man Captured in Viral Video Assaulting a Woman

The police have arrested Nii Baah Afful after he was caught on camera assaulting a woman with a baby.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister effected the arrest, the Police Service announced in a press statement on March 24, 2025.

“The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested the man captured in a viral video assaulting a young woman who was carrying a baby.”

The suspect is currently assisting in the police investigation.

The police noted that efforts are underway to put him before court for prosecution.
“The suspect, Nii Baah Afful, is currently in police custody, assisting the investigations and will be put before the court to face justice.”
