Police Arrest 1, Pursue Others For Highway Robbery

The Police Service is on a manhunt for three suspected armed robbers after arresting one person during a robbery incident along the Juaso-Nkawkaw highway.

The highway robbery took place during the wee hours of Sunday, April 7, 2024.

“Police patrol teams on the highway responded to the robbery incident at about 0100hrs on Sunday 7th April 2024 and arrested one person,” the Ghana Police Service said in a statement on Sunday.

It further noted that no casualty was recorded and assured that frantic efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects.

“There is currently an intelligence-led Police operation to get the others arrested, and we shall surely get them.”
