Parliament to Host Biennial Conference of the African Parliamentarians Against Corruption

The Parliament of Ghana is expected to host the 9th Biennial Conference of the African Parliamentarians Against Corruption (APNAC).
The event will take place from November 6th to 9th, 2025, at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge, Accra.
Under the theme “Strengthening Accountability for Sustainable Development in Africa,” the conference aims to foster continental collaboration and share best practices that enhance the legislative role in fighting corruption. It will also provide a platform for innovative discussions on policy reforms, institutional strengthening, and multi-sectoral partnerships.
The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, will deliver the keynote address during the official opening of the conference on Friday, November 6, 2025.
It will bring together parliamentarians, anti-corruption experts, civil society leaders, and stakeholders from across the African continent to deliberate on effective strategies to combat corruption and promote transparency, accountability, and good governance.
In a statement, the Parliament of Ghana said it was proud to host this important gathering, as it reaffirms its commitment to advancing integrity and ethical governance both nationally and across Africa.
