Parliament to Embark on Recess on March 27

The Majority Leader in Parliament, Mahama Ayariga, has announced that the House will adjourn sine die on Friday, March 27, 2026.
As a result, the House will begin to sit at 10:00 am from Tuesday, March 24 2026.
This, he said, would afford the House ample time to consider the outstanding business of the House before adjourning.
The Majority Leader made this known when he presented the explanatory memorandum on the business statement for the eighth week ending Friday, March 27, 2026.
He further noted that questions and statements would not be scheduled in the ensuing week, adding that this would afford the House time to dispense with the consideration of outstanding Bills.
Ayariga therefore, urged all committee leadership to be present in the House during the consideration of the Bills referred to their respective Committees.
