Parliament Resumes Today
Parliament resumed the third session of the eighth Parliament of the fourth Republic of Ghana today, February 7, 2023.
According to the memo from the office of the Speaker of Parliament, members are expected to be in chamber of parliament by 10 O, clock in forenoon, to start proceedings.
On 22nd December 2022 parliament went on recess to allow members of parliament to spend Christmas holidays with their constituents and family as well.
A number of bills which are on the consideration stage are expected to be passed within this sitting.
Also the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to present his state of the nations address within this sitting pursuant Article 67 of the 1992 constitution .
