Parliament Gifted 275 Bibles
The Parliament of Ghana has been gifted with some 275 bibles by Gideon International, an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus.
The bibles will be used by the 275 elected members of Parliament. In addition to that, the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Alban Sumana Bagbin was presented with a customized bible.
The donation was made on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
In a tweet, the Speaker expressed gratitude to the donor.
“On behalf of Parliament, I wish to express sincere gratitude to Gideons International for their kind donation of 275 Bibles to be distributed to Members of Parliament.”
He further assured that the Bibles will be put to good use.
“These Bibles would be put to good use for the benefit of the House and the country as a whole.”
