Our Meeting Was Thwarted With Court Injunction – Bosome Freho Presiding Member
Presiding Member for the Bosome Freho District Assembly, Hon. Patrick Kwaku Frimpong has stated that the Assembly’s meeting on Vote of No Confidence over the District Chief Executive, Hon. Yaw Danso was thwarted with Court injunction.
According to him, he had received reports from majority of the Assembly members against the District Chief Executive on various grounds and as the Presiding Member has to stand in for their grievances to be addressed therefore calling for vote of no confidence to be held to prove whether or not the DCE should be impeached.
Speaking on Opemsuo Radio with Agudey, Mr. Kwaku Frimpong said the meeting which seems to be held yesterday 13 July, 2022, was countered with a court injunction he received from the Kumasi High Court.
Without the Assembly members having any idea of the situation due to the late arrival of the Court injunction, he had to be there to inform the members and call off the meeting as well.
He then expressed his displeasures in the way the court acted for sending its order against the said activity lately impeding the ability to get the message sent across to call off the meeting earlier which subsequently brought unpleasant scenes following the meeting.
