Otumfuo Distributes Educational Materials To Deprived Schools.
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation is set to distribute 1000 backpacks and 10,000 exercise books under the Back to School program of the foundation.
The distribution of the backpacks and exercise books will take place in thirteen deprived schools in the Atwima Nwabiagya District in the Ashanti Region tomorrow, 17th February, 2021.
The thirteen selected schools include; Nkontomire M/A Basic school, Nyamebekyere M/A Primary, Nkonteng D/A Primary, Kyereyase M/A Primary/JHS, Ntabanu M/A Primary/JHS, Ahwiaa M/A Basic school, Akuapiim M/A Basic school, Amadum-Adankwame M/A JHS, Nkwakom M/A Primary, Fankamawe M/A Primary school, Asakraka M/A Primary, Asakraka M/A JHS.
In December 2020, Asante Professionals Club (APC) donated 1,000 backpacks to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as part of his 70th birthday celebration. Otumfuo tasked the Charity Foundation to allocate the items to selected communities.
The exercise will be undertaken by the Foundation’s team, led by the Executive Director, Nana Afia Kobi Prempeh.
The team will in addition, educate the students on COVID-19 safety protocols.
