Opemsuo Radio Staff Pay Homage to Otumfuo on Christmas Day
Workers of Asantehene-owned media organization, Opemsuo Radio- a subsidiary of Ashanti Broadcasting Corporation, have paid homage to the King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
It has been part of the organisation’s annual tradition to join the numerous employees and subjects of the King to extend warm greetings on Christmas day.
Led by the General Manager, Mr Bosie Amponsah, the tens of zealous workers including on-air, online and auxiliary staff made their way to the seat of the Monarch to pay respect.
The King set aside December 25, 2024, to celebrate the Christmas festivity with his subjects and employees.
He sat in state at the Afia Kobi Park at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi where he received homage and blessed all his subjects including his courtiers and numerous employees for their services throughout the year.
All were afforded the rare opportunity not just to pay homage but to receive his blessings through handshakes.
Hundreds showed up at the occasion to reaffirm their loyalty and commitment to the King as well as share in the occasion.
