One More Body Discovered In Wa
Another dead body has been discovered at Bahamu in Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
It was discovered by the Special Purpose Intelligence and Investigation Team in the Wa Municipality.
According to the police the body belongs to a male adult.
It was discovered on Monday night during a search operation in the community.
“After the necessary crime scene examination, the body was removed and deposited at the Regional Hospital, Wa awaiting autopsy. A pathologist from the Police Hospital is leading a team to Wa as part of an investigation into the incidents”, the police said in a tweet.
This follows the discovery of the body of a private security man who went missing in the community last Friday in a shallow grave.
Although one person is in the grips of the police as the prime suspect, the police suspect that the crime which has been a trend in the region is the handiwork of a group of persons.
“Analysis of intelligence gathered so far suggests that there may be more than one person involved in this heinous crime and we will do whatever it takes to get them arrested to face justice”.
Reports indicate that seven persons have been murdered in the Municipality within the space of a year.
