One Dead, Pregnant Woman And Others Injured In Tipper Truck Crash

One person has been confirmed dead by the Tema General Hospital after a tipper truck crashed into a tollbooth at the Tema Motorway in the Greater Accra region.
The deceased who goes by the name Mr. Isaac Kojo, together with another, sustained serious injurious and were rushed to the hospital with seven others including a pregnant woman.
Mr. Kojo had both legs and his right hand dismembered in the accident and subsequently died after the doctors predicted his 50% chance in surviving, accordind to a TV3 reporter.
He is said to have sustained what the doctors decribed as a life threatening injury.
In other reports, the deceased is confirmed to be a cleaner.
Five out of the seven who were also rushed to the hospital, including a pregnant woman are reported to be doing well. They are said to have sustained minor injuries, according to the reporter.
