Ntomaahemaa Donates to Children’s Hospital
Nana Yaa Boadu, the Ntomahemaa of the Ashanti Region, has generously donated items to patients at the Kumasi Children’s Hospital. Items included biscuits, soft drinks, toilet papers, and diapers.
Additionally, she handed out pieces of clothing to the dedicated staff as a token of gratitude and motivation.
Receiving the generous donations on behalf of the staff and patients, Mrs. Owusu Ansah Kusi Rosemond, the Deputy Director of Nursing Services, expressed her heartfelt gratitude.
She thanked Nana Yaa Boadu’s group for their kind gesture, stating, “Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and support the staff in providing quality care.”
Reflecting on the occasion, the Ntomahemaa said, “I believe in making a positive impact, and it starts by supporting those in need right within our communities.”
The Ntomahemaa passionately called on Ghanaians to come together and support the vulnerable individuals in our communities.
She emphasized the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need, stating, “Ghana, as a developing country, has a lot of vulnerable people who need support to improve their standard of living.”
Drawing from her own experiences, Nana Yaa Boadu shared, “There are a number of young guys and ladies I have funded through my foundation, ‘Nana Boadu Foundation.’ Some are currently pursuing their education, while others are gaining valuable skills through apprenticeships in various trades.”
She stressed the significance of even small financial contributions, explaining how they can empower individuals to establish their own sustainable ventures and enhance their lives.
Furthermore, Nana Yaa Boadu extended an open invitation to other compassionate individuals, encouraging them to join forces and collaborate in their philanthropic efforts.
She urged, “If you have intentions of helping the needy but do not know how to go about it, let us partner as a group to carry out this noble exercise together.”
Mrs. Ansah also seized the opportunity to appeal for financial support from the group and other stakeholders to help complete the children’s emergency ward, which is currently at the roofing stage. She emphasized the importance of this facility in providing critical care for the young patients in need.
