Nsoatreman Sign Teenage Striker Hussein Bashiru
Nsoatreman Football Club have announced the signing of 17-year-old Abdul Hussein Bashiru ahead of the next season.
The teenager scored 10 goals and assisted eight times for Basake Holy Stars to propel their premier league promotion at the end of last season.
Nsoatreman find him useful to their quest for a title next season and have therefore signed him on a three-year contract.
“17-year-old striker, Abdul Hussein Bashiru joins us on 3 year deal from Twin City FC. He scored 10 goals and assisted 8 for Basake Holy Stars in Division One to qualify them to the Premier League, and now look forward to a great journey with us!”
Basake are among three lower-tier clubs that advanced to the Premier League at the end of the 2023/2024 season.
Basake Holy Stars qualified ahead of New Edubiase United, Mysterious Dwarfs and PAC Academy in Zone Two.
Meanwhile, Nsoatreman finished fourth on the league table with 50 points behind Samartex, Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea.
