NPP Kasoa Office Not Vandalised- Police
The Ghana Police Service says the office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Kasoa in the Central Region has not been destroyed as reported on social media.
The public has been urged to ignore the report.
“The NPP Office at Kasoa has not been vandalized. Please ignore the false claim,” it said in a press statement.
Violence has marred the declaration of the Parliamentary election results in parts of the country with some constituencies yet to complete the collation process for the announcement of the winner following the election on December 7, 2024.
The Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensah yesterday said their offices had been besieged by political party supporters, making it impossible to complete the collation process.
As of 6 pm on Monday, nine constituencies were yet to have their Parliamentary results declared.

These constituencies were Awutu Senya East, Nsawam Adoagyir, Akwatia, Suhum, Techiman South, Dome Kwabenya, Ablekuma North, Ahafo Ano North and Damongo.
The police have since arrested over 40 people in connection with the said violence.
