NPA Threatens Court Action Against Defaulting OMCs
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has threatened to sue over forty Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) in the country.
In a press statement, the NPA said the OMCs are defaulting payment to the Primary Distribution Margin Fund.
They have been given up until February 22 to clear their debts.
Forty-seven (47) OMCs have been flagged for indebtedness.
They include Apex Petroleum Ghana Limited, Best Petroleum, Bisvel Petroleum Services, Black Rock Energy Limited, Capstone Oil Limited, Champion Oil Company Limited, Deep Petroleum Limited, Deliman & Co Limited, G&G Oil Limited, Galaxy Oil Co Limited, Glee Oil Limited, Golden petroleum Limited, Havilah Oil Ghana Limited, Hosanna Oil Company Limited.
Humano Energy Limited, Jas Petroleum Limited, Karela Oil and Gas Limited, Kros Energy, Life Petroleum Company Limited, LilyGold Energy Resource limited, Maiga &HHM Company Limited, MBA Global petroleum limited, MM Energy Limited, Muna Energy, Nujenix Company Limited, Nuru Oil Company Limited.
