NPA Closes 3 Fuel Stations In Sunyani
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has closed three fuel stations in Sunyani for cheating customers who go to purchase fuel.
Drivers at Sunyani have over the period complained about the price of fuel not being equivalent to the amount they get in their cars when they purchase them.
Their concerns reached the doors of the NPA to find the cause of such problems.
In their attempt, they found out that these fuel stations do not fill in the required amount customers pay to them.
They fill in lesser litres of fuel when they are paid higher amounts.
This has made the NPA close the following fuel stations in Sunyani; Goil filling Station at Eusbert Hotel, Frimps Oil at Penkwase, and Engine Filling Station at RCC.
The NPA further advised drivers and vehicle owners to be vigilant whenever they are buying fuel to avoid them being cheated.
