No Eligible Teacher Will Be Sidelined In Promotion Exercise- GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured that teachers eligible for promotion will enjoy what is due them.

This assurance followed concerns raised about the inclusion of all eligible teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021 and the challenges faced by applicants in accessing and applying through the link.

“No eligible teacher will be left out of the promotion exercise,” it said in a statement.

Accordingly, it said the application is open to teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021.

In addition, it said the online promotion link is undergoing technical improvements.

“Teachers who experience challenges in submitting their applications should remain calm as the issues are being resolved. Management takes full responsibility for the technical challenge and will solve it.”

It added, “The GES remains committed to a fair, transparent, and credible promotion process that guarantees equity and ensures that no teacher due for promotion is left behind.”

The Service opened the application for promotion on Monday, August 18, and it ends Friday, September 5, 2025.

The promotion ranks include Deputy Director, Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendent.
