District Chief Executive for Guan in the Oti region, Hon. Marlon Anipa has died, reports say.

He is said to have died in Hohoe on Tuesday, November 16 as confirmed by sources within the New Patriotic Party.

But the cause of his death is not known.

Hon. Anipa was unanimously confirmed as the first DCE for the newly inaugurated Guan District by all 19 Assembly members barely two weeks ago following his nomination by President Akufo-Addo.

He contested for the Hohoe parliamentary seat in 2016 but lost to his contender.
