NDC Won’t Be Happy- Nana B On Fuel Ranking
The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not be so pleased about the ranking of Ghana as one of the lowest fuel-priced countries in the world.
In a Tweet, he posted a publication by Business Insider Africa with which he cast insinuations. Per the publication which ranked African countries in order, Ghana placed 10th continentally and 44th globally for $1.003.
Continentally per the publication, Libya has the lowest rate at $0.031 and places second globally.
“FUEL PRICING DATA GHANA IS THE 10th LOWEST PRICE IN AFRICA AND ALSO RANKED 44th LOWEST PRICING OF FUEL IN THE WORLD.
“NDC and JDM certainly will not be happy about such positive news. Their desire is to see Ghana collapse economically, so they can wage their campaign of doom,” he captioned a screenshot of the publication.
However, some Ghanaians believe this does not reflect the true state of the petroleum sector.
“How does it affect the Ghanaians?” one commented with another adding, “This itself is even a failure. Who wants to be 10th. Why do you guys cover shame with golden cloth. SMH”
Currently, a litre of petrol sells at GH¢11.24 from an earlier GH¢12.69 while a litre of diesel goes for GH¢11.24 from the earlier GH¢11.69.
