Napo To Deliver An Address At US University
The Vice Presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is bid to deliver a keynote address at the University of Memphis (UofM) in the United States of America (USA).
The former Education Minister popularly known as Napo will be speaking on the topic: “Implementing a National Policy for Educational Access and Equity”.
A statement issued by Fiifi Boafo, his spokesperson on October 17 relayed, “Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice-Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will be travelling to the United States to deliver a keynote address at the University of Memphis.”
Apart from the address at the university, he is also expected to engage with members of the Ghanaian community in Memphis, further strengthening connections between Ghana and its diaspora.
“In addition, he will be hosted by the Mayor of the City of Memphis in a bid to foster cultural and educational exchange.”
He will depart on October 17 and return on October 20 to continue his campaign for the upcoming elections, the statement said.
