Nana Konadu Yiadom III Dɔte Yie: Be Mindful Of What You Post- Media Told

The media designated for the coverage of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa, have been charged to go about their duties with the highest discretion.
Videographers, photographers, reporters and bloggers are required to exhibit professionalism.
The Manhyia Palace, in a notice, said it will not countenance the publication of any unwholesome or sensitive content.
“The media should be circumspect with the visuals they send out. Any inappropriate footage would not be accepted.”
It said while announcing that no media or video/recording gadgets would be allowed access to where Nanahemaa would be laid.
As part of the media arrangement for the four-day event, each TV station would be allowed two cameras- one All Access Pass and a Media Pass, adding that only All Access accredited cameramen would be allowed access to the dais.
Media organisations also have the privilege of adding one reporter who would be granted access to the inner lane.
“THE two cameramen and the reporter would be identified by their pictures on their accreditation,” the Palace noted.
In addition, selected bloggers would be accredited and given access to the inner perimeter, and they should equally have their passport-sized photograph on their accreditation.
With regard to the use of drones, the Palace said it has banned their flying in and around the Queen’s Palace, adding that only accredited drones with stickers would be allowed to fly.
The burial rites will begin on September 15 and end on September 18.
