NAIMOS Arrests Imposters Parading as Anti-Galamsey Task Force

The NAIMOS Taskforce has arrested eight persons parading as Anti-Galamsey task force.
The armed group operated at Wassa Juabo in the Amenfi Central District of the Western Region.
They have been identified as Isaac Adam, Razak Issah, Samuel Nana Yaw Baffoe, Alex Anyimah, Beginning Amoako, Julie Tofah, Michael Owusu and Dominic Akakpo.
“During the arrest, one pump-action shotgun, along with 18 cartridges, and two Jack Knives were retrieved from the thugs,” a statement issued by the CEO of the Forestry Commission, Elikem Kotoko, said.
He noted that the gang will soon be handed over to the Ghana Police Service for necessary action.
Meanwhile, persons parading around the country as anti-galamsey task forces have been warned to desist.
