My Free Vacation Classes Initiativ Collapsed After Exiting Office – Addai Nimoh
Former Member of Parliament for Mampong Constituency and 2024 NPP Flagbearer hopeful, Hon. Francis Addai Nimoh introduced a free vacation classes initiative for SHS students in his constituency during his term as the MP. This initiative was initiated in 2009 till the MP left office in 2016.
Speaking on Opemsuo Radio with Agudey, the MP said the initiative is no more in operation after exiting office as the Member of Parliament for the constituency.
However, Hon. Addai Nimoh stated that aside from the collapse of the free vacation classes program for SHS students, all the other initiatives be it infrastructure, or other non-feasible policies and programs are still in progress.
Couples of toilet facilities, classroom blocks, and others built for some communities in the constituency are still in good shape despite the fact that some of the facilities suffer poor maintenance culture.
According to him, he was able to achieve most of his dreams for the constituency during his two terms in office and able to complete all his projects and programs before exiting office in 2016.
Some of these were education, participation, local inclusiveness, grassroots governance, etc.
