Morocco Announces Free Visa For AFCON Fans
Morocco has announced an initiative to issue visas at no charge to fans of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
It explained that electronic visas for travel to Morocco, obtained through the YALLA app for the Africa Cup of Nations, will come at no charge.
This is being rolled out in coordination with the relevant Moroccan authorities, the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF), and the Local Organising Committee.
It noted that a FAN ID will be mandatory to access any stadium during AFCON 2025, noting that the processing of electronic visas and FAN ID applications is carried out simultaneously through the YALLA app.
Interested parties are to visit the official website of the Yalla app to obtain the FAN ID which is: https://www.yallamorocco.ma, while (+212 5 30 30 20 30) has been made available to support applicants.
The North African country will host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
Twenty-four countries will participate in the tournament, including Comoros, Tunisia, Morocco, Gabon, Egypt, Botswana, Nigeria, Benin, Algeria, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan, Zambia, Ivory Coast, D.R. Congo, Tanzania, Mali, Mozambique, Cameroon and Zimbabwe.
