Medikal Returns To Twitter Despite Vowing Not To
Ghanaian hip hop artiste Samuel Adu Frimpong popular as Medikal is back on microblogging app Twitter four months after having his first account permanently suspended.
His comeback was announced by his wife, Fella Makafui.
The musician was suspended in November for impersonating President Akufo-Addo.
His suspension followed a complaint by a blogger and fan of rapper Sarkodie with an account name Beno SarkCess to Elon Musk.
“Hi @elonmusk kindly check @AmgMedikal’s account. He is trying to impersonate the President of Ghana”, he tweeted at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, November 8.
The suspended account had more than 320 thousand followers whereas he followed 638.
Following this, Medikal said he wasn’t returning to the app, according to reports citing a Snapchat conversation between him and the Ghanaian influencer, Kalyjay.
But in a tweet on Wednesday, March 29 Fella Makafui announced his husband was back on the social media app.
“Hi Guys,my boyfriend is back on Twitter ,follow his new account 🙄🙏🏾🙂”

He now has over 5,000 followers.
His first post with the new account was made three hours ago which was a picture of himself.

The last post made almost an hour ago sought a briefing on what he missed out on during his absence.
