Mbappe Unveiled Before a Packed Bernabeu
The ecstasy of a packed Santiago Bernabeu welcomed former Paris Saint Germain (PGS) forward Kylian Mbappe.
Adorned in Madrid kits, the 25-year-old entered the 85,000-capacity stadium amidst rapturous cheers and welcome from fans with his parents also present.
It comes after he signed a 5-year contract with the club.
Madrid last month announced reaching an agreement with the former Mbappe on a free transfer; however, his campaign with France in the European Championship delayed a formalization of the agreement on paper and his unveiling.
Following the exit of France from the competition last week, Madrid set today to unveil him.
At the event, he characterized his transfer as a dream come true.
“My dream came true today. I’m happy, I’m really happy… It feels incredible to be here. I’ve slept many years dreaming of Real Madrid and now… it’s reality.”
The French who will be wearing the number nine jersey said he wants to register his name in the history books of the “biggest club” in the world.
“This is the biggest club in the world. I want to win, I want to be part of the history of this club.”
