Mbappé Joins His Dream Club
French football star Kylian Mbappé has joined his dream club, Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player will be with the La Liga side for five years, the club said in a statement.
The statement released on Monday night confirming the move read, “Real Madrid C.F. and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement under which he will become a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.”
The France forward in reaction posted some pictures of his childhood in Madrid kits as he indicated he is realizing his childhood dream.
He also expressed his joy at the move.
“Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support,” he tweeted on X.
Mbappe joined PSG in 2018 on a permanent deal after a loan spell from Monaco and refused a contract extension last year.
Madrid finally struck the deal for his move after pursuing him for the past 14 years.
This also comes after Madrid won their 15th Champions League title.
