Marwako Hopeful Of Resuming Service Soon

Marwako Fast Food Limited has issued a statement to the effect that it will resume service sooner than later.

This comes after the FDA in a recent press statement on the food poisoning noted that the food joint will remain closed to the public.

According to the FDA, analyses of samples of food, some juice drinks, and swaps taken from the environment at the East Legon branch of Marwako Fast Food Limited indicate that there was a heavy microbial load (pathogens) which may be linked to the food borne disease reported.

The FDA furthered that samples collected from Marwako’s Abelenkpe and La branches were also found to be heavily contaminated as well.

In reaction to this, the management of the restaurant in a message to its customers said “In recent times, we have been going through serious challenges as a restaurant and wish to assure our cherished and loyal customers that there is light at the end of the tunnel, your favorite family restaurant will be back soon”.

Marwako Fast Food Limited once again apologised to the general public for the inconvenience and assured of their cooperation with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

The FDA announced it had closed down the East Legon branch of Marwako Fast Food Limited on June 12, 2022, and subsequently proceeded to its two other branches to shut them down as well, after a series of reports of food poisoning allegations flooded social media from persons who had eaten from the Marwako branch at East Legon.
