Manhyia Palace Prepares To Constitute New Asante Kotoko Management
The Manhyia Palace is making preparations towards the constitution of a new management board for the Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.
This comes after the Chief of Staff of the Life Patron of the Club, Mr Kofi Badu, informed the current Board about the decision not to renew their elapsed tenure in office during an emergency meeting at the Palace on Monday, July 3.
The information available to Opemsuo radio indicates Mr Badu asked the outgoing board to wind up the affairs of the management to clear the way for the constitution of a new Board.
The 12-member board of Asante Kotoko led by of Dr Kwame Kyei was constituted by the Manhyia Palace in May 2020.
Their tenure ended in June.
The board comprised of Dr Kwame Kyei- Chairman, Mr Jude Arthur- Vice Chairman, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi, Kwasi Osei Ofori, Alhaji Lamin, Kwamena Mensah and Joseph Yaw Addo.
The rest are Miss Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Baffour Kwame Kusi, Mr Kofi Amoah Abban, Mr Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey and Mr James Osei Brown.
