Mahama Govt Moves to Ensure Payroll Sanctity
The government has taken a step to ensure payroll records with integrity and accuracy.
In a letter addressed to all heads of government institutions, the Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House, Julius Debrah, directed that his outfit be furnished with data on employees added to the payroll since December 7, 2025.
Details including their names, designation, employee identification number, date of appointment and date added to payroll are the information needed.
According to Julius, the said information is needed for transparency and accountability.
They are to submit the needed information by January 31, 2025.
Meanwhile, he said the request is “critical to maintaining transparency and accountability in our payroll management processes…”
“Should you require further clarification or have any questions regarding this directive, please do not hesitate to contact us,” the letter added.
