Mahama Arrives in Korea for 4-day Working Visit

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in the Republic of Korea following his departure from Accra on Sunday.
He is booked for a series of official engagements, including bilateral talks with President Lee Jae Myung and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Woo Won-shik.
The President will also participate in a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard in Ulsan and deliver remarks at a conferment ceremony at Yonsei University.
Further engagements will include interactions with Ghanaians living, studying, and working in South Korea, as well as a dinner meeting with business leaders and chief executives aimed at promoting investment and strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
He will return to Ghana on March 14.
In his absence, the Vice President, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, will act as President.
