Lyon Sign Nuamah on Permanent Deal
Ligue 1 club, Olympique Lyonnais have signed Ernest Nuamah on a four-year deal after his one-season loan spell from Belgian side RWD Molenbeek.
The French side announced he is now on a permanent contract valid till 2028 in a statement on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Ghana international with 11 caps’ transfer deal is worth €28.5 million.
“A dynamic, fast and hard-hitting striker, Ernest Nuamah – who had revealed himself at Nordsjaelland in Denmark between January 2022 and August 2023 (49 matches / 20 goals) – has been able, through his performances, to convince his coach and his directors to extend the adventure at OL,” a part of their statement read.
Immediately after he was signed in the summer of last year by RWD Molenbeek where he made zero appearances, Nuamah was loaned to Lyon.
The former “Right to Dream” resident since joining the club has scored three goals and two assists in 33 games across all competitions.
