Lengthy Church Services are Boring, Make it 30 Minutes- Asamoah Gyan.
Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has proposed a reduction in the duration spent at church services across the country on weekends.
According to the retired footballer, lengthy services are boring and tend to discourage people from patronizing the house of God where wisdom is propagated.
In a live session, Gyan proposed a 30-minute church service as ideal.
He believes many people will attend any church which holds service for 30 minutes or an hour and thereby urged pastors to take note.
“Make the service short. Quality not quantity. Yes, it has to be short so that many will be attracted to the church. I’m pleading with all the pastors to make the church service short.
“If you can finish within one hour or thirty minutes, members will be motivated to come listen to wisdom…Lengthy services are boring.”
