Lands Minister Attends African Mining Indaba 2026

The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, is in South Africa for the African Mining Indaba 2026, Africa’s largest mining investment and policy forum.

He led a delegation to this year’s edition on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

As the continent’s leading mining and investment platform, the conference brings together governments, global mining companies, investors, and regulators to attract capital, shape policy, and set the agenda for responsible and sustainable mineral development across Africa.

The Minister will participate in a series of high-level dialogues and strategic engagements, while contributing to broader discussions on key challenges confronting the mining industry.

Among the core engagements, the sector minister, Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah, will headline the highly anticipated ‘Ghana Day event’, slated for Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

As Africa’s leading gold producer, this event will provide a platform to showcase Ghana’s business potential to investors and deepen interest in its extractive sector.

“Ghana’s participation at this year’s conference reflects the vision of the President, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, to advance the mining sector through expanded global partnerships and targeted strategic investment initiatives,” the Ministry said in a statement.
