KWASI NTI EULOGIES DAVID DUNCAN’S POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON HIS CAREER
Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Kwasi Nti, has lauded the positive influence of Black Stars Assistant coach, David Duncan, in his football career during his stint with the Porcupine Warriors.
Many players have blamed their coaches at some point in their career for not giving them opportunity to build their talents, but the young fulgent offensive midfielder says David Duncan’s influence during his days with Kotoko was unparalleled.
According to the AshantiGold midfielder, former coach of Asante Kotoko SC, David Duncan, played an astronomical role which aided him to join the main team from the junior side of the Africa Club of the Century.
“I joined Asante Kotoko Senior side through the recommendation of David Duncan after two years with the junior side when most of our Senior players left to Black Stars B for the CHAN Tournament,” Kwasi Nti revealed in an interview on Opemsuo 104.7 FM evening sports show, Pramaso.
“Coach Duncan guided me so well and created a non-threatening space for me to operate. I was among few junior players who had the opportunity to play for the Senior side under his watch”
” He is somebody I cannot forget in my career due to the fatherly role he played during our days with Asante Kotoko,” Kwasi Nti concluded.
